i feel you!!! i hate val's too. i was dead set on being grumpy all day, and did pretty well up until lunch, when we entered the cafeteria FILLED with red heart balloons, and the first pakistani sarcastic comments started flying in... my driver had done the same with the car, it was hilarious, i couldn't help but being in a good mood. but yeah man, nothing holy about this holiday! hope you had a good one though. see you soon... inshallah!

So Chitgo, I beg to defer. While there's a critical mass of annoying idiots out there text msging away, I think shorthand is a natural evolution of language. After all, language is merely an effective means of communication, isn't it?

Anyway, like I find the overly red and bright, albeit with an overtone of consumerism, attached with this day rather nice! But that's just me!

I spent the day indoors because of the nicely timed thunderstorm that raged outside all day and hence was spared the mass display of consumerism. yay rains! apparently the price of a single rose here went upto approximately 7 Euro..

(though did get splashed by 5 cars..5, I tell you..on the way to a Board meeting and hence entered meeting looking like a drowned cat/homeless person..that was random info you really didn't need to know..)

@cj: hahaha i agree with CK on the count that I did think our darling cileia would be a bit more 'gushy' about the big V! but babe I feel your pain! see you soon too (inshallah!)

@ck: whasup bro! don't flaunt your technological, evolution-defining company at me :P ! and the 2 of you are more then welcome to flirt here as long as we don't get graphic. This is a PG-13 family blog.

@emad: i know you must be a short-handing genius and whilst what your saying makes sense...it's just so displeasing to the eye! is there nothing left to beauty and classic communication? meh..you kids of today :P

I spent the evening having a nice dinner followed by a foolish movie called fools gold. How ironic.
