how you think of me..
Disorganized additions to the series of 'Stories for my funeral: Chants and Prayers'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
macabre, needy, desperate
insecure..
they flow through my being
as aliens I endure.
Aliens,
for they don’t lay proof nor claim
to the man and his 'potence'
this world does proclaim.
I am however
how they least describe
the divinity.
Wishing
to disappear
Only to know
how you felt
about me,
So very cowardly.
Would you lay
threadbare,
those moments of
unbelievable ecstasy
wrapped in lust and longing
on those passion drenched days?
Would you cry
in an unending rage
screaming
for one last chance
to hear my heart beating
heaving
in the stillness wonder
of a lover’s slumber.
Would you mourn
through emotions penned down
with poems and prose
of paths I once chose.
Would you mourn
through emotions penned down
striking anguish
in strangers
and their passing sojourn.
They laugh
in manic depression
at the irony of it all..
separation was a necessity
yet the remembrance of their love
is everything
they’ll ever need.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
additional short stories for funeral chants and prayers available:
1. diwakar's plea
2. sitara
