1. sidp calling me on an early friday evening screaming "this one's for you brotherrrrrrrrrrrrr"

Sidp: returns to the phone 15 seconds later screaming "i cant hear a damn thing you're saying but I will see you in decembaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (voice streams away)
2. gorgeous sisters.
as someone who grew up not really knowing too much family outside the 3 of 'us' and the much-loved trips to the U.S every summer (that also had to come to a grinding halt thanks to stupid board exams); it was righteous to be with this one for the first time. intelligent, quick witted and so so so so sweet...maya you truly rule and will continue to do so in the exciting years up ahead:)
3. awesome aunts
doting, loving, insanely interested in all aspects of my life from the last time she saw me (over 8 years ago:)) to today...how much did we really cram into this last weekend? i dont know...it just flew by...and we are going to make it happen again!
3.the 30gig video ipod
long awaited....and so so so so so beautiful. a gift from a family geographically so far away but breaking boundaries everyday with the effort to keep in touch and be part of a life as chaotic as their own....i can't wait to see you guys next year! thank you!! (dont miss the attention to detail and tribute to the honest fact "that god lies in the details" -personally inscribed for van chitgough himself...my partner in rhyme)

besides the excitement, all in all a fun week. saying goodbye (albeit sadly) to new and good friend Z who i am sure to keep in touch with. a mid-week meet up at TCs turned out to be a lot of fun hence laying to rest the argument that going to the sardine can once every 2 months is actually not a bad idea as long as you've got awesome company, taste for good rock and enough man power to wrestle oncoming traffic from all ends for 2 hours straight..
insightful discussions, sleepy nights and much needed TLC for some people very close to me.....i promise to make it happen.
thats about it from here...december is around the corner and the freakish speed with which this year continues to steam roll has my jaw in an ever-jolted expression. so be it....
