ive got to say it was downright righteous to meet friends from across the generations:). reunions rule

thanks to everyone that came down. each of you is making it extremely hard for me to decide on a course of action that requires me to leave home soil...
irrespective, much loud music and classic delhi chaos ensued. niharika is watching da vinci code as i write this and i hope its as fantastic as the book. im going to be watching it this weekend....

hmmm...mom tapped into my poetic side today (on hearing that i was having bouts of insomnia)...she prescribed this classic piece of poetry to soothe those tired (yet weary eyes)

Acquainted with the Night


I have been one acquainted with the night.
I have walked out in rain -- and back in rain.
I have outwalked the furthest city light.

I have looked down the saddest city lane.
I have passed by the watchman on his beat
And dropped my eyes, unwilling to explain.

I have stood still and stopped the sound of feet
When far away an interrupted cry
Came over houses from another street,

But not to call me back or say good-bye;
And further still at an unearthly height,
A luminary clock against the sky

Proclaimed the time was neither wrong nor right.
I have been one acquainted with the night.
