Evening TV is back!
woooohooooo..many thanks to the great DG for letting me know of this - the kickass new dedicated Indian news channel delivering live streaming coverage straight to my laptop:)
ok, so what's new?:) board exam givers rejoice- they have a whole 15 more minutes of reading time before giving in the paper..WOW! i mean oh my god thats going to drop the stress and suicide rates of a quarter of a billion youngsters across the country. Good lord- if someone had told me my board results were going to have this little a consequence on the future of my career (sure im being a little cocky and im all of 5 years out of school but anyone out there willing to argue?) I would have slept through the fricking exam and spent more time building my understanding of global corporate HR practises and reading up on UN agencies delivering sexual and reproductive health programs to developing countries. Certainly my life today has a bit more purpose because I had the advantage of wonderful parents that didnt go ballistic over the lack of 95% scores, but for the gazillion other kids in India - if I can say one thing it would be" ITS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD"- focus on being good human beings, build your network, explore, travel, find your interest and back yourself.
nothing is more valuable than these formative years. a frickin 3 hour exam doesnt define you today, it's not going to define you 10 years from now.
anyways, back to doing what i was doing- which is very exciting btw:)...am providing smatterings of input to the strategy team structure and format with Zuzka and Rob (always fun with these 2 brilliant minds;) whilst browsing the beauty of randomness on the web.
alright, am going back to watching the news- can u believe its been nearly 2 years for me that I havent had a television in my house? best thing i ever did actually (per force or per choice;)

aaah... This thing is sweet..at last i can watch Indian news and ads in canada..!!
